Inari Weeks brings together the traditional and modern summer events of the region for the delight of locals and tourists alike. The programme offers something for everyone: village festivals, gold panning competitions, children’s events, markets, concerts, church festivals, traditional music, art exhibitions, hiking, dancing, singsongs and theatre.
Various events reflect the gold panning and mining history of Inari. The gold-themed play produced by the amateur theatre iValoiset and the municipality of Inari will premier during Inari Weeks, and nuggets from the gold traditions of the region can also be heard in the Pelimannipäivät traditional music festival.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the summer events of Inari Weeks, in the largest and most beautiful municipality of Finland!
